If you want to try a pie for a party then try making it in the form of these cute mini florets of chocolate crust peanut butter pie. To start with first make the dough. For that mix 2 cups of all purpose flour , 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 4 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt in a food processor and pulse. Then put in 1 stick of unsalted butter and 4 tablespoons of Crisco(shortening) until the mixture is crumbly. Then add 2 eggs yolks and up to 8 tablespoons of ice coffee while pulsating till the dough turns into a ball. Put the dough in a bowl, cover with a cling film and pop it into the fridge for about half an hour. Once chilled roll the dough into a sheet as shown and cut flowers with a cookie cutter. Line a mini muffin tray with these flowers and bake in the oven until done. Let the mini pie crusts cool down completely and start making the pie filling. For that beat together 1 cup peanut butter with 8 ounces of cream cheese and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Then add 1 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar and 8 ounce pack of Cool Whip. Fill this filling in a piping bag and fill the flower crust shells. Drizzle chocolate sauce on the pies and top with chopped peanuts. For more details visit Inspired by Charm. Enjoy!
