Are you wondering how these neon cheesecake bars would look like? Well, if you have few minutes of time in your hand and some neon food colorings in your kitchen, then you can definitely give it a try at this instant! This recipe will give you the most bright and colorful cheesecake bars ever!
To make these bars for 9 servings, you are going to need 5 tbsp melted butter, 4 cps Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, ½ cup very warm water, 2 packets of unflavored gelatin, 1 Yoplait Original vanilla yogurt, 2 packages of softened cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar and Betty Crocker neon food coloring gels. You are going to need only 15 minutes to prepare these neon cheesecake bars. You have to start with placing the cereal in a food processor followed by pulsing it until it becomes finely ground. Add the melted butter to it and then pulse it again. Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking pan which should be in 8×8 inch size. Next, dissolve the gelatin into warm water and do it in a small bowl. Add cream cheese, sugar and yogurt by adding the bowl to a large stand mixer. Spread the half of the smooth cream cheese mixture on top of the cereal crust. Use a spatula to even the layer and then divide the remaining half of the cream cheese mixture into 4 small bowls by distributing evenly. Apply different colored Betty Crocker neon food coloring into each bowl and stir the mixture until the color is evenly mixed. Do the same for each bowl and the place dollop of each color on top of the white cream cheese layer. When you have poured all the cream mixture, tap the baking pan several times so that the colored layer can get flattened. Use a knife to draw across the mixture in several directions to swirl the color. Refrigerate the cheesecake for 1-2 hours before serving. Slice the cheesecake before serving and you have made some yummy neon cheesecake bars!
